Who are we?

Légáramlat is a youth-focused nonprofit organization founded in 2018 by three former university students who observed that nonformal educational opportunities for themselves and their peers were quite scarce. It became our mission to foster the development of key competencies among youth by engagement in impactful nonformal learning experiences. To provide such experiences, Légáramlat is focused on four pillars:

Our Vision:

We are dedicated to expanding the horizons of the youth we work with beyond their immediate communities. By connecting with the E+ program, we empower young individuals to discover new horizons, learn, travel, immerse themselves in diverse cultures, and embrace novel experiences that might have been previously inaccessible. Through a variety of projects, we encourage a healthy and active lifestyle, enabling youth to explore new and innovative nonformal learning contexts. We provide tailored support for individual learning journeys while advocating for equality, social inclusion, active citizenship, cultural diversity, and tolerance. Our role in society is to supplement the formal learning path of the young people we work with, with seeds of critical thinking, learning to learn, taking responsibility for themselves, in summary to empower the youth to become better selves.

Our Mission:

Our primary goal is to ensure equal access for all young people to our carefully designed nonformal learning contexts (youth exchanges, workshops, presentations, events, gatherings, sport days). We are dedicated to nurturing personal and professional growth in safe way using nonformal learning methods and assuring complementary education to the youth we work with.

To focus on providing information and opportunities for personal growth. Our Info-Days workshops highlight the benefits and opportunities offered by Erasmus+ programs. We encourage young people to explore these programs, fostering international exchange and cultural enrichment.  TCs, Conferences, courses, lectures, etc. for improving staff.

Through our Non- formal Youth Development Programme  we cultivate competence, equipping young individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their personal and professional lives. We instill confidence, empowering them to face challenges with self-assurance. We foster character development, emphasizing caring values, empathy, and ethical decision-making. We facilitate meaningful connections within communities and society as a whole, encouraging active contribution and engagement. Additionally, we nurture creativity, inspiring innovative thinking and problem-solving among young people.

Our Objectives:

To supplement the education process of the youth with nonformal learning opportunities which boost their self-esteem, independence, capacity of critical thinking and social awareness.

To provide on regular basis new, innovative and diverse learning contexts (e.g. events, youth exchanges, sports initiatives, workshops, mentoring programmes, etc.)

To cultivate cultural awareness and foster tolerance toward different cultures by involving young individuals from various backgrounds in all our activities.

To advocate the importance of extracurricular learning and personal development and encourage young people to explore the opportunities of nonformal learning.

To bridge societal, economic and cultural gaps and promote inclusion by ensuring equal opportunities for everyone, particularly reaching out to disadvantaged youth.

To forge new partnerships and increase our European and international presence and contribution to the empowerment of young people.

We are committed to equipping young people with competencies that are not only valuable in their professional lives but also enhance their personal growth. Our activities in this area encompass:
