Grassroots Campaigners | 22 September - 01 October | Kunbaracs, Hungary


The project aims to bring together 40 young people from Hungary, Romania, Slovakia and the Czech Republic in a non-formal intercultural environment to increase their awareness of the importance of active participation in civic life and its impact by developing practical knowledge, skills and positive behaviours/attitudes on how to build and implement a successful environmental non-violent activist campaign The methods utilized in this program will be nonformal and interactive, including games, storytelling, brainstorming, roleplaying, and more. 


About the project:
The project aims to increase awareness and competences of implementing environmental activism campaigns and include more sustainable green practices in youth projects among the partner organisations and their target groups. Objectives planned to be reached by the end of the project:
 

Day 1: 🎙️Reporting from the exciting kickoff of the "Grassroots Campaigners" youth exchange! 🌿🚀 Day 1 was filled with games and activities on breaking the ice, making new friends, and setting the base for the upcoming days!🎉📸 Let the pictures tell our story! Stay tuned for more adventures! 🌟 

Day 2: 🎙️Our adventure in the world of non-formal education continues in our "Grassroots Campaigners" youth exchange 🌿Day 2️ brought us meaningful debates and discussions, exploring the power of youth-led initiatives in driving positive change. We also collaborated, pooling our talents and energies to craft impactful presentations 📊🎤. It's safe to say, we're right on the right track! 💪🚀 

Day 3: The journey of ideas, knowledge, and opinions interchange keeps getting more exciting at the Grassroots Campaigners" youth exchange 🌿In day 3️ we dove into new activities that deepened our understanding of how to learn effectively and step into our growth zone. 🧠We also got immersed in role-playing sessions that brought our discussions to life, fostering our teamwork skills through collaborative projects. 🎭 

Day 4: Updates from our "Grassroots Campaigners" youth exchange 🌿Day 4️ brought us closer to mastering our skills in writing learning outcomes, mixing learning with fun, and setting free our competitive spirit through some exciting games. 🌱📚🎉 We're well on our way to making breakthroughs!🙌 

Day 5: Things keep getting better in our "Grassroots Campaigners" youth exchange 🌿On Day 5️, our teams delved deep into the world of environmental leadership, discussing influential figures who shape the narrative on crucial environmental topics. 🌍💬 Finding inspiration in role models is the key to making a positive change! 🌟 

Day 6: Another amazing day in our "Grassroots Campaigners" youth exchange! 🌿🎭 We delved into the world of theatre, creatively addressing various environmental issues. 🌍 As the night fell, we embraced Romanian goodies and traditions, making great memories. 🌟 

Day 7: Things got moving in our "Grassroots Campaigners" youth exchange 🌿Day 7️ had us exploring Kecskemét as a united team, accomplishing tasks and creating great memories.

Day 8: Days are flying by at our "Grassroots Campaigners" youth exchange 🌿Day 8️ was packed with exciting activities, team building, creative crafting, and immersion in the wonders of nature. 😊

Day 9: 🌿Making the most of our final days in the "Grassroots Campaigners" 🌿 youth exchange! Day 9️ may have been colder, but our enthusiasm and dedication turned up the heat. We cherish every moment we have left together and continue learning, growing, and inspiring change. 🌍💪  

Day 10: The 10th and final day of our "Grassroots Campaigners" 🌿 youth exchange is here, catching us somewhat by surprise! We've successfully concluded our campaigns, made a commitment to reconnect and disseminate our project results. ✨ Until we cross paths again on our shared path of making a difference! 🌍💪
