Digital Confidence in Action: Youth Unite for “Beyond the Screen” Erasmus+ Exchange

As the official Hungarian partner, Légáramlat supported the participation of the Hungarian group in “Beyond the Screen”, an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange dedicated to building digital resilience in a connected world.

Far from a typical tech seminar, this project was an immersive journey—one where 13–14-year-olds became savvy digital citizens. Through hands-on workshops, creative challenges, and dynamic team activities, participants explored how to take control of their digital lives and support others in doing the same.

Together, they unpacked real-world issues that affect their generation daily:

• Unmasking online scams and phishing traps – spotting fake messages and protecting themselves from digital deception.

• Building smart digital habits – from creating strong passwords to understanding how much personal info they share online.

• Understanding their digital footprint – recognizing how their actions online shape their reputation and identity.

• Fostering digital wellbeing – striking a healthy balance between screen time and real-life connection.

• Standing up to cyberbullying – learning how to respond, support, and advocate for kindness online.

These young participants weren’t just attendees—they were changemakers in the making. With fresh knowledge, stronger awareness, and a toolkit of digital skills, they returned home ready to make the online world a safer, more thoughtful space for all.
