Stats and NGOs

Our beautiful project took place between  25 March and 05 April in the amazing city of MezƑberĂ©ny.

Location:

Mezóbereny (Békés), a small town which lies in the Pannonian Basin. It's very close to the Romanian border, about 200 km away from the capital Budapest.

Accommodation:

For the accommodation we have the Facility of Piknik Park MezƑberĂ©ny, which has an area of 1600 square meters. The facility includes cafeteria, bedrooms equipped with bathrooms and the conference room, in which have been taken place all the activities.

In the town you can find the beautiful Mayor Town hall, some churches and quiet parks. There are shops, supermarkets and bars near the camp.

There are two close cities near Mezöberény; Bekescsaba, about 50 000 inhabitants in which you can visit the church (XVIII th Century) or the grain museum.

The other city is Gyula, well-known due to the thermal baths or the river Fehér-Körös and for being at the frontier with Romania.

In this project were involved 60 participants, aged between 15 and 43, from 6 different countries around Europe:

The NGO's that made this Project possible are:

LĂ©gĂĄramlat

Legaramlat is an organization founded in Budapest, Hungary by active university students to promote active lifestyle, create opportunities for their peers to try sports like sailing and paragliding in which organization members are highly experienced.

The main goal is to provide young people with equal opportunities to participate in the events, projects organized by our organization and our partners to try out new sports they usually would not have an opportunity to do, to grow personally and professionally in safe non-formal learning contexts.

To give an opportunity for our peers to try out new sports our organisation members have experience in (sailing, paragliding) through implementing various events, youth exchanges and sports projects.

Ingens Risus

The organisation represents a fusion of two aspects: the need of having an instance for developing projects or activities which will chase our main goal; and the sense of initiative which helped us in improving other activities in which we took part. Therefore, we decided in March 2017 to create an organisation that will contribute to the personal and professional development of the youth from minorities and which have fewer opportunities.

Clube de Jovens Europeus

Clube de Jovens Europeus springs from the simple idea that the collaboration and the construct of solidarity between people are done on the ground and through the direct promotion of European values between Youth.

It was therefore born in 2017 with clear objectives:

– To promote personal, physical and professional growth of Youth.

– To promote the exchange and intercultural dialogue between young people

– Organize trainings, seminars and other events.

– Foster the free exchange of ideas, knowledge and information

– Raise awareness to modern possibilities of a better life, namely digitalization.

Sonrie a Europa

The association was born in February 2019 in Seville, Spain, with the following objectives:

Youth for Youth z.s

Youth for Youth has been founded in 2015, working in the field of modern techniques of social communication in society using various methods of education (formal and non-formal). The organization was established to ensure the better education through every possible channel, higher awareness of local community, better communication, exchange of students, exchange of youth, education of citizens on environmental protection, promotion of European values and others. One of our biggest challenges is to promote youth work and include young people in international projects to enrich their life perspective, opportunities and integrate them as much as possible.

Klub 86

Klub 86 is organization based in Rimavska Sobota, small town in southern Slovakia with significant minority of Hungarians, making more than 35% of total town’s population which defines one of our NGOs focus areas – increasing interculturality and awareness, tolerance and acceptance and at the same time fostering Hungarian culture and traditions, bridging the gap between Slovak and Hungarian cultures and people.Â
